Good to Know

  • We would appreciate at least one week advanced warning of class visits Tel: +41 (0)21 843 25 83.

  • Some teachers prefer to visit the museum themselves before arranging a class visit. A free entry pass is available in such cases.

  • As of January 2010 a teaching aid (in French) relating to the Musée du fer et du chemin de fer has been available for downloaded from our website and from the regional website www.ecole-musee.vd.ch. It is soon to be available in paper form at the museum entrance. However teachers should ensure that pupils bring their own copies.
