Price: CHF 300.00 per course day, all expenses included except meals, to be paid on the spot at the beginning of the course.

To be brought to the course: note-taking materials, leather work gloves and transparent protective glasses.
Introduction to the forging of knives
Content of the course: information about steel; theory and practice of knife-forging; theory and practice of heat treatments; exercise and the production of a rough knife by simple forging.
Introduction to the manufacture of crude laminated steel, Damascus steel.
A condition of participation: prior experience of knife forging.
Duration: 3 days, from 9h00 to 12h00 and from 13h30 to 18h00.
Price: CHF 900.-
Content of the course: information about the materials; theory and practice of hot welding; production of a laminated steel bloom; forging and finishing of a knife in refined steel, assembly as a full tang knife (boxwood is suggested for the handle; but you can bring a different wood, well dried).
Introductory course in bronze casting
Duration: a whole day or one afternoon (13h30 to 18h00).
Prices: whole day CHF 450.00 / afternoon CHF 300.00.
Number of participants: 1 to 5 people
Content of the course: information about tools and materials; theory and practice of taking impressions in sand; theory and practice of blending and casting bronze alloys; exercise and production.
Manufacture of tools (for stone cutting)
Note: there is a wide choice of tools that can be made, so please specify which ones you are interested in.
Content of the course: information about steel; theory and practice of the forging of tools; theory and practice of heat treatments (annealing, hardening, tempering); production of tools.
